The Grand Tour presenters return for more challenges
Jeremy Clarkson, 59, took to Instagram yesterday to post behind-the-scenes pictures with his co-stars from the set of The Grand Tour.
The car enthusiast reunited with his fellow presenters James May, 56, and Richard Hammond, 49, to film the fourth season of the popular Amazon Prime show in an unknown destination.
Jeremy, Richard and James were casually dressed in the snap, which showed them posing on mountain bikes in T-shirts and sunglasses.
The TV star, humorously captioned the snap: “You’ve seen the tribute band. Now it’s time for the real thing.”
In the picture, which was shared with his 2.2 million followers, the trio can be seen swapping their usual cars for bikes, leading to some users to joke about budget cuts in the upcoming series.
One user wrote: “Are you guys testing bikes instead of cars?!”, while another quipped: “Grand Tour had budget cuts. Had to switch from cars to bikes”.
Although, Jeremy did not name or tag the location into his post, a second picture showed the stars and their crew recreating the famous Abbey Roads album cover by the Beatles by walking across a zebra crossing on a busy street.
Eagle-eyed fans may have noticed the men strutting across the road under a neon sign announcing “Pub Street”.
Pub Street is a popular tourist attraction in Siem Reap, Cambodia, lined with bars and restaurants.
During an interview with The Sun, Jeremy confirmed that Cambodia would be one of the locations for season four as well as Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.
At the end of series three, the presenter revealed there would be a major format change in the upcoming episodes when he said an emotional goodbye to the live studio audience inside the Grand Tour tent.
The next series will scrap the tented studio and feature four road trip adventures instead.
