Being a mother of two children, A.J.Cook maintained a perfect supermodel-like figure. Despite the fact that her career is rather busy, she is still beautiful and slim. A.J. appears in crime-drama series, thus she has to keep feet not only to look great, but to act more efficiently. Her type of figure is called “banana”. It means that she has thin hips, thin shoulders, flat stomach, small breasts, and butt checks. In general, A.J.Cook works out and keeps healthy diet, but in 2008, when she gave a birth to her first child, she was in a difficult situation. As every woman, she gained weight, that’s why she kept a strict diet and intensive specialized training with a coach (cardio+toning exercises). In order to lose weight and to become more attractive, A.J. decreased her daily norm of calories to 1,500. A positive point in her diet was that it was slowly. The actress didn’t use any radical methods, as she wanted to achieve a long-termed effect. She lost 0,5-1,5kg a month which was much healthier than crash diets with extreme weight loss.

Following her weight loss program A.J.Cook ate a whole wheat tortilla stuffed with banana and peanut butter for breakfast. Peanut butter gave her enough protein, and banana supplied with potassium. Such breakfast was complemented with a cocktail of fat-free yogurt, blueberries, & ground flaxseed. Her lunch consisted of whole wheat pita with tuna, fat-free mayo, plus dried cranberries. The last meal included chicken breast without skin, grilled asparagus, and salad with a kind of seasoning to make it tastier. Light soup was also a part of her ration, because it is well-known weight loss tool.

In addition, Cook combines long days of shooting of “criminal Minds’ with running and pilates at least three times a week. She has a kind of rule: “Don’t press yourself if you’ve eaten a cake. It’s not the end of the world, just move more.”
