Ayo Edebiri is a new face in Hollywood. She has just risen to stardom as Sydney Adamu, the sous-chef from the comedy-drama series “The Bear”. The starlet has already gained the reputation of a style icon, as her appearances at the red carpet events always make a lasting impression on fashion lovers. She was raised in Boston, MA in a very pious Christian family. Ayo is the only daughter of a Barbados mother and a Nigerian father. Before Ayo’s birth, her parents had immigrated to the USA and worked as a social worker (mother) and a State Department staff member (father).
After graduating from school, she entered New York University to get a degree in Education. But her secret passion was doing stand-up comedy.
