Even if you are not engaged into sport, you’ve probably heard about popular today gluten-free diet.
Gluten is a type of protein, which main feature is stickiness. With the ability to glue substances, food rich in gluten form a homogeneous mass: the first position occupies flour. A lot of gluten is found in cereals such as wheat, barley, rye. The dough made of such flour can be easily mixed with water and it turns ductile and malleable.
What, actually, makes a success?
Many little things can help to succeed, unless, of course, do not go crazy about them.
Rafael Nadal has always believed that the most important thing is to be happy, to enjoy what you’re doing, and keep the mental freshness. And if the diet or some other sacrifices makes you unhappy, they put pressure on you mentally, because they require a serious effort, so it is better to refuse.
Still, the sportsman says that if the diet is not difficult to maintain, and he feels he needs it, then he sits on it.
Besides, he believes that a diet – is not the only way to keep fit. Not all players are successful. They sit on a diet, playing in the same style. All people are different.
To someone it seems that the gluten-free diet is great. But after three or four years, Rafael found out something even better, so he almost forgot about gluten-free diet. Young man tries to avoid all these new-fangled things, because he is quite satisfied with his current diet.
As many other sportsmen Rafael Nadal tries to keep healthy diet. It’s not too restrictive, but it keeps him in fit.
However, the tennis player is not saying that a gluten-free diet is bad one. Everyone is free to do what he wants. Not all players work equally well.
