Willem Dafoe body measurements

The actor Willem Dafoe surprises his fans with classical elegant looks and unsurpassed charisma. His multifaceted talent allows him to act as a diverse cast of characters starting from violins and ending with senators and priests.

Willem Dafoe has delicate features and a high-bred countenance. He has a neat buzz cut, which opens his high forehead, huge eyes, and a narrow nose. His body is of average height, but he has great proportions, so fashionable suits fit Willem perfectly.

He seems to be a natural-born actor, but in truth, he grew up in a family, which was far from the entertainment industry. His father William Sr. was a surgeon, while his mother Muriel was a nurse. He is the seventh of eight children in his family.

Willem Dafoe is an actor who was discovered by the Experimental Theater, as the New York Times wrote about him. He was expelled from school for making a porn video with his then-girlfriend. Willem entered the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee to study drama but left that course after 18 months to join the experimental group Theater X.

In 1980 Dafoe debuted on the big screen. He appeared in the film “Heaven’s Gate”, but his scenes were cut. The actor’s big break took place in 1986 after the release of the military drama “Platoon”. He skillfully depicted Sergeant Elias Grodin and got an Oscar nomination for his play. In 1988 the actor played one of the most contradictory roles in his career. He reincarnated on the screen in Jesus for Martin Scorsese’s movie “The Last Temptation of Christ”. This role remains one of the most unusual and complicated in his career.

One of the most famous Dafoe characters is “Spider-Man”, released in 2002. He portrayed the main villain in the screen story – Green Goblin. The actor liked that character so much and immediately agreed to depict him in the movie.

Till now Willem’s career is in the active phase. Among his recent projects is the role of Nuidis Vulko in “Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Justice Is Gray”. He also played Dr. Godwin Baxter in the melodrama “Poor Things”, where his co-star was gorgeous Emma Stone.

Willem changed his hair quite often, mostly to fit the characters he depicted in his films. Thus, Dafoe had long hair and a beard of fair color in the film “The Last Temptation of Christ”. When he worked in the movie “Wild at Heart” as Bobby Peru, he had slick back hair of black color and a thin mustache. In 2005 he appeared at the Cannes Film Festival wearing wavy fair hair of middle length.

Recently, he graced the cover of The New York Times Style Magazine with his hair brushed back. The noble dark brown hair color fit the elegant actor so much.

Although Willem Dafoe’s haircuts change quite often, his slim fat-free silhouette remains unchanged. To stay fit, the actor cut meat from his diet. He also does weightlifting exercises from time to time. He starts every morning with an outdoor run. While preparing for his screen roles, Willem is working out harder. He adds vitamins to his diet every day, too.
