Larry is an American actor, screenwriter, comedian, and producer. He is best known as a screenwriter and executive producer of the television series Seinfeld, a screenwriter of the show Comedians, the creator and starring of the series Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Early in his career, David worked as a shop clerk, limousine driver and television repairman to pay bills. Since 1980, he has been a screenwriter. He first wrote the screenplay for the series Friday, and then became a screenwriter for the talk show Saturday Night Live.
In 1989, David, together with Jerry Seinfeld, began creating the pilot episode of The Seinfeld Chronicles, which became the basis for the series. David wrote seven seasons of Seinfeld and returned in 1998 to write the finale. Sales of the series on DVD brought David an income of $55 million. He was also nominated for an Emmy award 19 times.
David married Lori Leonard in 1993. They had two daughters, Cazzie and Romy. In 2007, Lori David filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
Even at such a venerable age, Larry strives to keep himself in good shape. He eats healthy food, for example, he is very fond of avocados and greens. He also repeatedly showed journalists the gym in the basement of his house. There is modern equipment and a massage table, and Larry himself spends a lot of time there.
